The United School Board will meet tonight and the budget for the next school year is on the agenda.
The proposed budget up for approval balances at $23,485,841, and property taxes will remain the same at 11.156 mils. This is a change from the budget that was approved for advertisement last month, as that came to $23,478,471 in expenditures and $23,210,749 in revenues.
Also on the agenda for tonight’s meeting is the hiring of a director of education, and an amendment to the food service contract to establish a summer feeding program that will run from June 26th to July 27th.
The meeting will be held at 7:30 PM tonight at the district board room.
