On Monday night, the Indiana School Board authorized the administration to release requests for proposals for a Clerk of the Works for the upcoming Eisenhower Elementary Project.
According to board member Tom Harley, the Clerk of the Works is an important position as that person represents the board.
The board also approved modifying the contract for acting superintendent Robert Heinrich. His salary will be altered to a prorated amount of $135,000. Also, Justin Zahorchak was approved as the acting director of education and special education. His salary will be a prorated amount of $130,000.
The board also accepted a bid for propane that will be used for district buses. Ferrellgas won the bid with a bid of $1.32 a gallon for two years starting with the upcoming school year.
