Meetings have been scheduled for residents of Indiana County to learn more about the new Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance that was passed by the Indiana County Commissioners in April.
The new SALDO is in line with the Indiana County Comprehensive Plan and replaces the previous subdivision ordinance that was last amended in 1990. The SALDO is in effect for 32 of the 38 municipalities in Indiana County. The plan makes sure that all land development regulations and requirements are met, and all citizens and interested parties are treated equally and fairly.
The Indiana County Office of Planning and Development will hold three in-person meetings and two virtual meetings over Zoom video chat. The in-person meetings will be held on June 20th at the Coral-Graceton Fire Hall, July 3rd at the Marion Center Park Hall, and July 11th at the Saltsburg Borough office. Each in-person meeting will start at 5:30 PM. The virtual meetings will be held on July 10th at 1:30 PM and at 6:00 PM.
