A man charged in connection with a drug bust entered a guilty plea and was sentenced yesterday in Indiana County Court.
24-year-old Toby Takach entered a guilty plea to a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Other charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of a weapon were not prosecuted. The charges were filed in connection with the bust made by the Indiana County Drug Task Force on January 8th of 2021. When investigators searched the home, they found several pounds of marijuana, THC wax, LSD, psilocybin, some firearms, drug distribution items, a debt book and $26,000 in cash. Takach later admitted to police that he sold drugs.
He was ordered to serve two years of probation and pay fines and court costs.
