BRUSH FIRE, ALARM ACTIVATION REPORTED BY INDIANA COUNTY 911

While conditions were ripe for wildfires in Indiana County, only one brush fire was reported by Indiana County 911.

That call was at 12:54 along Parkwood Road in Young Township.  The Iselin-West Lebanon fire department was dispatched at the time.  Details on how the fire started and how much ground was damaged have not been released.  This marks the 60th brush fire in Indiana County this year so far.

And just after the fire was reported in Clymer, Marion Center and Plumville fire departments were dispatched for an automatic fire alarm activation along Route 119 North in Rayne Township at 1:06 PM.  Marion Center Fire Officials said that the alarm was reported at the Crystal Waters Personal Care Home, and turned out to be a false alarm.

I love it! It will help bring more economic activity to Indiana County!
I love it! It's much needed for the safety of folks to link the trails and access both sides of that busy highway.
I love it for both of the reasons listed above (as long as they maintain it.)
It's not going to be the economic boon they're saying it will be.
Not enough people will use it to have an effect on safety.
It will not be maintained and will fall into disuse rather quickly.
