PennDOT is alerting Indiana County motorists of some traffic changes scheduled for this morning.
Officials say starting at 9 a.m., a superload being transported from Allegheny County will travel through portions of Indiana, Jefferson, Clarion, and Butler Counties, as it heads to Columbiana, Ohio. For Indiana County, the load is expected to affect the stretch of road between Route 22 East to Route 119 North.
The superload is expected to be 136 feet long and weigh 150 tons, and will move as a “rolling slowdown,” which will require the use of two traffic lanes. This will move at approximately 25-30 miles per hour, which could cause stoppages and delays.
