Pool season is right around the corner and several entities are gearing up to help Indiana County residents cool off this summer. One is Homer City Parks and Recreation.
The Homer City Pool will open at noon on June 2nd, which is the last day of school for Homer-Center students. Some upgrades at the pool include new steps instead of ladders to get in and out of the water, and the volleyball net, which can be used by parties in attendance.
Pool passes this year will be sold at a reduced rate compared to last year. Aaron Lehman of the Homer City Parks and Recreation Department explains why.
Lehman also talked about family pool passes and how those can be used throughout the season.
Parties can also rent the pool for two-hour time slots at a rate of $125.
