First responders stayed busy on Memorial Day as six calls were made to Indiana County 911.
Rossiter Volunteer Fire Department was summoned to a report of utility lines down along Juneau Road in Canoe Township around 12:04 p.m. Three minutes later, a vehicle accident was reported along Fire Academy Road in Center Township. Homer City and Coral firefighters, along with state police were dispatched. Details are not available at this time.
Rossiter crews were dispatched for the next two calls, both on Juneau Road. The first was a burn barrel fire around 1:17 p.m. A minute later, crews were called to set up a landing zone.
Cherryhill Township firefighters rounded out calls as they were called in for traffic control along Route 553 around 4:25 p.m.
