With the Memorial Day weekend underway, Pennsylvania State Police are reminding residents that they will be taking extra precautions to keep the roadways safe.
Troopers said in a news release issued on Wednesday that members of the Troop A barracks will be watching for distracted, aggressive, and intoxicated motorists. Some heightened measures include DUI checkpoints, roving patrols, and mobile enforcement details. Motorists are reminded to drive sober and to designate a driver if celebrations include drinking.
