Following an eventful opening night, the Delaney-Chevrolet Westsylvania Jazz and Blues Festival continues today in Downtown Indiana.
More concerts are scheduled at IRMC Park throughout the day. The Knoch High School Jazz Ensemble opens the day at 11 a.m., followed by Jazz in Your Face at noon. Blues Attack takes the stage at 1:15 p.m., then the Norside Organ Trio (2:30 p.m.), Soulful Femme (3:45 p.m.), Joe Saylor, who currently is the drummer for the “Stay Human” Band on The Late Show with Steven Colbert, is the penultimate act (5:30 p.m.), and Toronzo Cannon rounds out performances (7:30 p.m.). After the concerts at IRMC Park, several local venues will host late-night performances starting at 9 p.m.
Also on the schedule is the Downtown Indiana Arts Walk, which runs from noon to 3 p.m., and a one-hour Student Clinic with Joe Saylor and Philip Kuehn at the Indiana Theater. That starts at 1:45 p.m.
