The Indiana School Board is set to meet tonight and the budget is on the agenda.
The tentative budget that is up for adoption is in the amount of $64,060,839. No word yet if there is any need for a tax increase. Currently, the taxes for Indiana School District stand at 15.36 mils.
Also on the agenda for tonight’s meeting are several construction-related items. Items up for approval include requesting bids for asbestos abatement at Eisenhower Elementary in preparation for the renovation/addition project, approval of change orders related to the East Pike Old Office Renovation, and a change order for the roof replacement project for the administration building.
The meeting starts tonight at 7:00 in the district board room and will be streamed online through the district’s website, iasd.cc
