ONE HURT IN BRUSH FIRE

One person was hurt in a brush fire yesterday in Canoe Township.

Indiana County 911 reports that the Rossiter Volunteer Fire Department was called out initially at 3:24 PM for the fire along Locust Lane.  Twenty-four minutes later, the Marion Center Volunteer Fire Department was called in to assist.  Marion Center fire officials reported that one person was injured, but details on who the victim was have not been released, nor the extent of the damage.

This marks the 58^th brush fire of the year in Indiana County.
