Even as the state legislature continues to craft a new budget, due by June 30th, Indiana County’s school districts are working on their fiscal plans for the new school year while not knowing exactly what their state subsidy will be. Meanwhile, Indiana Area’s Buildings, Grounds, & Transportation Committee meets Monday night, with their agenda addressing the Eisenhower Elementary School renovation and addition, a discussion on how to respond if bids exceed the funds budgeted for the work, the East Pike school renovations, a proposed renovation of the Senior High Music Room, and a general projection of the district’s new budget.
