Indiana County first responders had a quiet day on Thursday with just a handful of calls reported.
Indiana Fire Association was the busiest of the departments dispatched yesterday. Their first call was for traffic control detail for an incident on Warren Road at 12:19 PM. At 4:22 PM, crews would be called out again, this time for a transformer fire along Indian Springs Road in White Township. Finally, they would respond to a report of a gas leak along Philadelphia Street in Indiana Borough at 6:38 PM.
The only other reported call for first responders was in Burrell Township. At 5:43 PM, the Blairsville and Black Lick fire departments were called out to assist EMT’s on the scene along Spring Avenue in Burrell Township.
