Negotiations continued Tuesday between the State System of Higher Education and the union representing the coaches at state-owned schools.
According to a joint release from APSCUF and PASSHE, negotiation teams continued discussions of the evaluation process and began talks on assistant coaches. The next meeting for both sides will be June 5, just 25 days before the current four-year contract expires.
Meanwhile, the next scheduled negotiation session for PASSHE and APSCUF concerning teacher contracts will be on Monday. Both sides shared lists of topics to be discussed and they say talks on the teachers’ contracts are expected to take a while.
