PROMOTION ADDS DUTIES FOR FORMER PENGUINS PRESIDENT

The Steelers yesterday announced the promotion of former Penguins president and COO David Morehouse to the new position of executive vice president for strategy.  Morehouse, who resigned from the Penguins after their new ownership group took over last year, joined the Steelers as a senior adviser last August.  He will guide the strategic direction of Acrisure Stadium operations and advise team president Art Rooney II on business operations, plus continue collaborating on community and NFL-related initiatives.

The Steelers have set the schedule for offseason workouts, which officially began with the opening of the voluntary workout program on April 17^th.

The new schedule released yesterday includes:

• Rookie minicamp May 12^th through the 14^th.
• Organized Team Activities May 23^rd through June 8^th, with Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday workouts the first two weeks, followed by a Monday through Thursday schedule June 5^th through the 8^th.
• Mandatory Minicamp will be held June 13^th through the 15^th.
