Negotiations continued yesterday between the State System of Higher Education and the union representing the coaches at the state-owned schools.
According to a joint release from PASSHE and APSCUF, negotiation teams met yesterday and discussed camps and clinics, the evaluation process, and other proposals. The next meeting of both sides will be next Tuesday. The contract between the union and the state system expires on June 30th.
Meanwhile, the next scheduled negotiation session for PASSHE and APFSCUF concerning the teachers’ contract will be Monday, May 15th. The last time the two sides met, many topics were discussed, and both sides shared lists of topics to be discussed. Both sides are saying that talks on the teachers’ contract are expected to take a while.
