The Indiana County Technology Center has announced that an electrical operation program will return to the school, and the center will conduct open enrollment for that program.
During a meeting last week, the ICTC joint operating committee voted unanimously to re-start the electrical operation program in order to meet current student interest and increased job demand. The electrical operations program now brings the number of available programs at the ICTC to 15.
Along with the return of the electrical operations program, ICTC plans to expand its welding program enrollment capacity starting with the Spring 2024 semester. Again, increased demand is the main reason for the expansion.
The changes are being made as part of the ICTC’s annual strategic planning for the upcoming school year.
The programs are not only open to students in grades 10 through 12, but it is also open to adult learners seeking career and technical training. Anyone interested is encouraged to contact ICTC.
