With the primary elections on the horizon, an important deadline for voters is coming up today.
Today is the last day that people can register to vote. It’s also the deadline for people to make changes to their voting status, including name, address and political party. People can register online at vote.pa.gov, or go to the Indiana County Voter Registration Office at the Indiana County Courthouse and register there.
Another deadline coming up is the last day to apply for an absentee or mail-in ballot. That is May 9th.
The primary election will be held May 16th. That’s when all ballots, including mail-in ballots, are due to the county board of elections by 8:00 PM.
