PennDOT is alerting motorists to some upcoming lane and width restrictions concerning the Margaret Road Intersection Improvement Project in Armstrong County.
The project in Plumcreek Township will see some concrete barriers set up next Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM along Route 422, and that will result in some lane restrictions. Once the barrier is set in place, there will be a ten foot width restriction on vehicles in the area. Crews will continue to work on installing drainage along 422 and reconstructing the roadway shoulders. Traffic will be reduced to one lane controlled by flaggers.
The overall goal of the project is to replace an existing four-way intersection with a T-style intersection relocated to a point west of where the intersection is now. The project will run through the end of June.
