One of the suspects in the 2020 shooting at the Carriage House apartments is due back in court today.
Court documents show that a motions hearing is scheduled today for 21-year-old Terrion Gates of Johnstown. He is one of the four defendants charged in the shooting death of Jadeyn Wright on October 17th of 2020. He was with Isaiah Moore, Delmar Chatman and Isabella Edmonds when the four went to Wright to purchase marijuana, but that lead to the shooting that killed Wright. The four suspects fled on foot after that.
Gates is charged with criminal homicide, attempted theft, conspiracy to robbery and to theft. Today’s hearing concerns the commonwealth’s motion for reconsideration of pretrial habeus corpus. Jury selection for his trial is scheduled for May 22nd.
Jury selection for Moore is scheduled for August 21st, while Chatman’s jury selection is set for June 19th. Edmonds is scheduled to have a criminal call hearing on August 4th.
