Traffic is being re-routed and some people in White Township and Indiana Borough are without power due to an incident this morning on Route 286.
Indiana Fire Association confirmed that before 8:00 AM this morning, a truck driving on Route 286 pulled down power lines near the Airport professional center. A temporary detour using Hamill Road has been set. Officials on-scene say that this incident has affected multiple utility poles, and it will take a while for those poles to be repaired.
72 Penelec Customers in White Township are without power along with three others in Indiana Borough. Power is expected to be restored by 11:00.
