On Wednesday morning, the Indiana County Commissioners approved revisions for 2020 CDBG-Covid budgets for three municipalities and the county itself.
The revisions take money out of the administrative line items for Burrell and Center Townships, Indiana Borough and Indiana County, and moves that funding to the food assistance line items for their respective areas. LuAnn Zak with the County Office of Planning and Development said that they felt that that the need for food assistance is still prevalent.
All other activity contract lines remain unchanged, and these revisions will be sent to the PA Department of Community and Economic Development for approval.
The Commissioners also approved a change order with Sheesley Electric concerning Phase II of the ICCAP Food Bank Warehouse Renovation project. The change, which includes electrical modifications in the receiving area, the elimination of an unused second meter socket and providing a conduit to an external emergency generator, will run $14,285. The additional cost will be covered by Multi-Source Grant Funds.
