PennDOT is advising motorists of some changing traffic patterns in White Township starting next week.
From May 1st to the 5th, crews will be milling Oakland Avenue from the Route 422 interchange to Indian Springs Road and laying down the first coat of pavement in both directions. Motorists should expect rotating lane closures and flaggers along the route to direct traffic at the intersections.
This is part of the 422/286 widening and resurfacing project, which includes the widening of Route 286 and the interchange with 422, replacing a bridge over Mccarthy Run and installing sidewalks on 286
The work on this portion of the project is weather dependent. The entire project is set to wrap up in December of this year.
