First responders have a busy start to the day today with three calls reported.
Indiana County 911 reported both incidents happened in the 2:00 hour this morning. The first was a call for the Indiana Fire Association, borough police and Citizens’ Ambulance for a carbon monoxide alarm activation on Nixon Avenue at 2:11 AM. The other incident was a vehicle accident reported on Cemetery Road in Young Township. Iselin and Coal Run fire fire departments, Lifestat Ambulance and State Police were called in to assist.
And four crews are on the scene of a reported structure fire on West Union Road in Armstrong Township. The call came in at 5:51 this morning. Elderton, Indiana and Iselin Fire Departments were initially dispatched at that time along with the HAZMAT team and Citizens’ Ambulance. The Coal Run fire department was dispatched to assist ten minutes later.
