There will be a project starting and ending tomorrow on Hamill Road near Route 286 in White Township. After the school buses complete their morning run, the contractor will shut down the road from about 8:30 to noon to dig a trench for the installation of a new sanitary sewer pipeline underneath the road. The road should be open to one alternating traffic lane after the full closure, but there could be lengthy delays for motorists. Normal travel should be restored by the end of the day.
You can reach all points on Hamill Road from Old Route 119/North 4th Street all day, but you’re urged to find an alternate route.
It’s a White Township Municipal Authority project that is scheduled for completion this year.
