One of the Indiana County Commissioners has been appointed by Governor Josh Shapiro to a state board.
Today, Commissioner Sherene Hess will have swearing-in ceremonies at the Indiana County Courthouse as she becomes a member of the State Agricultural Land Preservation Board. In a brief statement, Hess said that she was honored to be recognized as a contributor to the issue of farmland preservation. Her term will run until March 29th of 2027.
The swearing-in ceremonies will be held at the Indiana County Courthouse at 11:15 this morning.
