A former leader in IUP’s Research Institute is taking on a new role in the banking industry.
First Commonwealth Bank announced in a news release that Mark Berezansky has been named the new manager of the bank’s branch office in Blairsville. He served over 17 years as the executive director of the IUP Research Institute, and before then, he served with both the National Drug Intelligence Center and the FBI. In his new position, Berezansky will lead the efforts in building new customer relationships and expanding current ones to support customer needs in full-service personal and business banking, wealth, insurance and trust services.
Chad Martin, Financial Solutions Area Leader in Indiana and Jefferson Counties, said that Berezansky is a highly-regarded community leader and will be a wonderful addition to the team.
