As Indiana county has seen some significant precipitation over the last few days, the Burrell Township Supervisors have announced the end of a burn ban put in place last Wednesday.
Burrell Township Supervisor Dan Shacreaw announced the ban will be lifted tomorrow, but reminds residents that burning is only permitted on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from dawn to dusk. Only wood and paper products are allowed to be burned, and the items to be burned must be in some form of containment, like a burn barrel or a fire ring. The resident doing the burning must be present with the fire at all times until the fire is out.
Anyone with questions can call the township office at 724-248-3308.
