INDIANA POLICE INVESTIGATING HIT-AND-RUN

Indiana Borough Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that happened on Gompers Avenue yesterday.

Police say the incident was reported at 11:23 AM.  The suspect vehicle, described as a white GMC Pickup truck with four doors, black wheels and black fender flares, collided with a utility pole in the 300 block of Gompers Avenue.

Anyone with information regarding this hit and run is asked to call police at 724-349-2121.

I love it! It will help bring more economic activity to Indiana County!
I love it! It's much needed for the safety of folks to link the trails and access both sides of that busy highway.
I love it for both of the reasons listed above (as long as they maintain it.)
It's not going to be the economic boon they're saying it will be.
Not enough people will use it to have an effect on safety.
It will not be maintained and will fall into disuse rather quickly.
