On Monday, PennDOT crews will start work on a resurfacing project on Wayne Avenue in White Township.
Phase one of the paving project will start on April 10th, and it will consist of milling and patching operations, minor drainage upgrades, and paving between the Route 119 ramps near Wayne Avenue and Indian Springs Road. Traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction for the daylight work in this phase, which is scheduled to be completed by mid-May.
Future phases of the project include paving along Wayne Avenue, South 7th and North 4th Streets, Old Route 119 and Route 110. Another portion of the project scheduled for 2024 will be the replacement of box culverts on Wayne Avenue and Carter Avenue near the KCAC. The overall project will wrap up in the summer of next year.
