The Pirates bats woke up at the sight of the Green Monster in Boston last night, with Bryan Reynolds leading the way. Joe Block recaps the Bucs’ win.
After the Pirates quickly surrendered the 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first, manager Derek Shelton says they kept their heads up.
Shelton says Reynolds is always going to be focused on the field, even as his contract situation remains unresolved.
Shelton liked the way Johan Oviedo rebounded from his rough start.
The Red Sox’ starter, Kutter Crawford, says Reynolds had his number last night.
