New upgrades to Kennedy-King Park were reigned in prior to the Indiana High softball game Wednesday afternoon.
Officials with White Township said in a news release that new dugouts, that were built over the winter, were used for the first time yesterday as the Little Indians hosted the Armstrong Riverhawks. Prior to this year, players stayed on the bleachers with fans during their games, but now the dugouts allow for a real “big league” feel.
To celebrate the new addition to Kennedy-King Park, White Township officials threw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game, and took photos with coaches and players.
