On Wednesday, the White Township supervisors got an update on the progress of the Stewardship Committee.
The committee is charged with creating a new stewardship plan for the township, including White’s Woods. Barb Hague with the committee said that things are moving forward, but they are running out of time. The group had 18 months to put together a plan, but the deadline is June and they are just beginning to write the plan.
Hauge said they will put together an outline to present to the supervisors at the next meeting to discuss what the supervisors are looking for in the plan.
In other business, Township Manager Chris Anderson announced that the township building will host an upcoming PennDOT spring outreach program on April 6th. Anderson said that the PennDOT District 10 building sustained some damage in the recent wind storms and will be unable to host the meeting. More details on the meeting will be announced at a later time.
