The Indiana County Commissioners today will deal with money that is coming to the county from some recent lawsuits concerning the opioid epidemic.
On the proposed agenda for today’s meeting are four motions concerning the money the county is set to receive in those lawsuits. The first is a resolution that will establish the composed initial disbursement of funds allocated to the county pursuant to the state’s opioid settlement agreement and distribution from the Pennsylvania Issues and Addiction Abatement Trust. The other three motions will deal with the establishment of the Indiana County Opioid Advisory Committee, the appointments of its members and its chairperson, Kami Anderson.
Also on the proposed agenda today is a change order for the architectural services contract for the Indiana County Food Bank Warehouse project.
