During Tuesday night’s meeting, the River Valley School Board talked about potentially digitizing some records.
The records that the board is looking at turning into a digital format are invoices, financial records and human resources records. Harper said these were records that definitely should be kept but not in filing cabinets. Harper also said that board member Jessica Clawson wanted to see some of the records linked.
In other business, the board approved the retirement request of paraprofessional Tammy Gromley and payroll administrator Jacob Sweitzer. It was also announced that the board’s negotiations committee started talks with cafeteria, teacher aides and paraprofessionals. Harper called it more of a meet-and-greet session. No word when the next meeting will be held.
