MARION CENTER SCHOOL BOARD TO HOLD PLANNING MEETING

The Marion Center School Board will hold its planning meeting tonight.

Up for discussion tonight is a quote for playground fencing from C&H being funded through PCCD Mental Health and Safety Grant in the amount of $15,892.75.  The board will also discuss the 2023-24 school district calendar and the high school course catalog for next school year.

Several policies will also be up for discussion, including graduation requirements, threat assessment, the individualized management plan, policies for students experiencing homelessness, and procedural safeguards concerning notices of denial of enrollment.

The meeting will be held tonight at 7:00 PM at the McCreery Elementary Cafeteria Annex.

I love it! It will help bring more economic activity to Indiana County!
I love it! It's much needed for the safety of folks to link the trails and access both sides of that busy highway.
I love it for both of the reasons listed above (as long as they maintain it.)
It's not going to be the economic boon they're saying it will be.
Not enough people will use it to have an effect on safety.
It will not be maintained and will fall into disuse rather quickly.
