PSP-KISKI VALLEY INVESTIGATING ID THEFT

State police were called for a case of identity theft in southwest Indiana County.

Troopers from the Kiski Valley barracks reported that they were notified of the identity theft on March 15^th.  It’s believed that sometime between January 1^st and last Wednesday that someone used the identity of a 74-year-old Saltsburg woman to file an unauthorized tax return.

The investigation into the ID theft continues.
