State police are investigating a crash on Thursday night where someone was believed to be driving under the influence of alcohol.
Troopers say the crash happened at 11:44 PM on March 9th near the intersection of Muir Road and Dayrose Lane in West Wheatfield Township. The suspect, identified by police as a 31-year-old Bolivar man, crashed his vehicle and fled the scene, but he later returned to it. As police interviewed him, he provided them with false identification. When his true identity was confirmed, the suspect said he had crashed the vehicle.
No word yet if charges have been filed in this case.
