Two people were killed in a crash near Elderton Monday afternoon.
The crash was reported around noon near the intersection of Route 210 and Gastown Road. Initial reports from Armstrong County 911 said that three vehicles were involved in the crash. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other died at the hospital. Neither victim was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The victim’s names have not yet been released, but the Armstrong County Coroner’s office has confirmed that the victims were both female, and both were in the same car.
