Today marks day seven of the teachers strike at the Penns Manor School District.
Teachers are expected to hit the picket lines once again today, so the district had cancelled classes for today. A negotiation session is expected to be held today at 10:00 AM, which follows a session that was held last Friday that ended with no agreement in place. In a brief statement, the Penns Manor Education Association said that they hope “reason and cooperation prevail to reach a fair settlement that gets our teachers and students back into the classroom.”
