The Penns Manor School District enters day 6 of the teachers strike after failing to come to an agreement late last week.
Negotiations were held on Friday with the state mediator present, but the Penns Manor Education Association said the proposals made by the district were “still asking teachers to pay more, and to get less.” The district said in its own release that the teachers union had asked for the adjournment to look over data.
Another negotiation session is scheduled for tomorrow. The district has cancelled classes for today and tomorrow as the strike continues.
