BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PLANS TO BE DISPLAYED

PennDOT will host two plans displays for bridge projects in Indiana County on the next two Tuesdays.

This Tuesday, March 7th, the display for the Clarksburg Bridge replacement in Conemaugh Township will be held from 4:30 to 5:30 PM at the Trinity Presbyterian Church at 19 Clarksburg Road.  Then on Tuesday the 14th, there will be an open house for the display of plans for the replacement of the McIntyre Road Bridge crossing Blacklegs Creek in Young Township.  That meeting will be from 6 to 7 PM at the Young Township Municipal Building.

PennDOT representatives will share preliminary information on each project’s status, schedule, design, and right-of-way acquisition.

I love it! It will help bring more economic activity to Indiana County!
I love it! It's much needed for the safety of folks to link the trails and access both sides of that busy highway.
I love it for both of the reasons listed above (as long as they maintain it.)
It's not going to be the economic boon they're saying it will be.
Not enough people will use it to have an effect on safety.
It will not be maintained and will fall into disuse rather quickly.
