A minor power outage was reported yesterday that affected nearly 50 Penelec customers in East Wheatfield Township.
The outage was reported around 7:30 AM in Dilltown. Penelec officials said that the outage was due to equipment failure, specifically, two blown protective fuses on a pole along Route 403. While the cause of the failure was not discovered, the repairs were quickly made and their customers had power restored about an hour later.
