Another round of negotiations is scheduled for today between the Penns Manor School District and the Penns Manor Educators Association.
According to a brief announcement from the PSEA-Western Region representative Annie Briscoe, negotiations are set to continue today starting at 1:00 this afternoon. There is no word on how much progress was made on the contract between both sides.
The PMEA has been without a contract since July 31, but negotiations have been going on since January of 2022. The union announced its intent to hold a strike starting on Monday should an agreement not be in place by then.
If it does come to a strike, it is not known how many days the teachers would be allowed to strike, or its schedule. If a strike does go off, the district will cancel classes for those days.
