State police from the Indiana Barracks are investigating a case of theft that happened at a home in West Wheatfield Township on February 6th. State police say that at 12:54 AM, an unknown person forced their way into a home via the front door and took $200 in $20 bills from an end table. A suspect has not been named as yet.
State police have released more information on a DUI crash that happened on February 2nd in Green Township. Troopers say that a man had driven off the road and into the yard at 5718 Tipperary Road. When officers arrived, they discovered that the driver, identified only as a 32-year-old Northern Cambria Man, unconscious behind the wheel due to drugs. Police had to administer three doses of Narcan before he was taken to IRMC for further care. It was at the hospital that he submitted to a legal blood draw for suspicion of DUI. Charges are pending the results of those blood tests.
