At a meeting Wednesday afternoon, the White Township Supervisors heard an update regarding the potential installation of electric car chargers at S&T Bank Arena.
During his report, Recreation Director Ryan Shaffer said that the Township has looked at updating infrastructure to allow for a single, two-port charging station in front of the arena as a way to accommodate drivers with electric cars. He said the investment could benefit the Township financially, but there are some challenges to it.
In other business, Township Manager Chris Anderson announced that the revised dangerous structures ordinance will go up for advertisement on Monday. This comes after new language was added regarding dangerous fences.
Anderson said he was pleased with how smoothly the ordinance was put together.
The ordinance will be voted on at the next Supervisors meeting on February 22.
