State representative Jim Struzzi has a new assignment as part of his duties as a member of the State House of Representatives.
Struzzi and Representative Kyle Mullins, a Democrat out of Lackawanna County were selected to be co-chairmen of the PA State System of Higher Education Caucus for the state house in the 2023-24 session. The caucus primarily consists of PASSHE alumni and/or house members who have a state system school in their district.
Struzzi called it an honor to be named to the Caucus, as IUP falls in his district. He said that the state system is adapting to the changing needs of students and the workforce while trying to keep the education quality high and prices low.
