The IUP basketball teams rolled into Greensburg last night for a doubleheader against Seton Hill. The women dropped their game, but the number-one ranked men won theirs. Jack Benedict has the recap.
Men’s coach Joe Lombardi credited his team’s hard-working defense for their effort against a good offensive team.
Lombardi credited team leaders Shawndale Jones and Dave Morris, two accomplished offensive players, for setting the tone on defense by taking hard charges.
The IUP teams tangle with Gannon in a doubleheader Saturday at the KCAC. The women lost to PSAC West-leading Gannon on January 11th, 94-88 while the men won their game, 79-67.
