The negotiating teams for the State System of Higher Education and APSCUF, the union representing faculty at the state-owned universities, held another round of contract talks on Thursday and afterward released a joint statement. The bargaining session centered on personal leave, pay dates, and office hours.
APSCUF President Dr. Kenneth Mash said he looked forward to making progress in the coming negotiations and State System Chancellor Dan Greenstein called the talks “productive discussions. ” The two sides will meet again on February 6th.
The current four-year contract expires on June 30th. The current four-year deal for coaches at the State System schools, which is a separate contract, also expires on June 30th.
